Three public hearings are scheduled to be heard before the Puyallup City Council during their Tuesday, November 10, 2020 meeting. The first public hearing will consider the 2021-2022 Biennial Budget; the second hearing will look at the 2021 Property Tax Levy rate; and the third public hearing will contemplate three proposed amendments to the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Land Use Map in 2020.
Due to current restrictions on public gatherings and the closure of City Hall during the pandemic, the 6:30 p.m. city council meeting will occur remotely. Citizens may access the meeting by Livestream at www.cityofpuyallup.org (Agendas, Minutes & Video Page); by Zoom, at https://Zoom.us/join Meeting ID 976 6142 3083 - Passcode 237610; or by phone at 253-215-8782 (use the Zoom meeting ID and Passcode).
Written general comments or public hearing testimony will be accepted via email at firstname.lastname@example.org until 5:30 p.m. on November 10th and will be distributed to the City Council prior to the meeting. For verbal comments during the Citizen Comments or Public Hearing portions of the meeting, please email your name and the phone number you will use to the email above to allow us to identify you correctly during the meeting. Be sure to sign into the Zoom meeting using the phone number, ID number and password above.
Please be advised that an announcement will be made by November 9th regarding restrictions placed on public gatherings. IF the restrictions are lifted then the meeting MAY occur in the 5th Floor City Council Chambers, located in Puyallup City Hall, 333 South Meridian.
