On September 10, 2019, the Puyallup City Council will conduct a Public Hearing to consider proposed amendments to the City's Municipal Code related to homeless-serving zoning. At this hearing, public comment will be received for these items. The City Council is expected to deliberate on a proposed ordinance, related to these amendments, at that same meeting.
Puyallup Municipal Code Amendments
P-17-0001 City-initiated amendments to the zoning code establish locational and procedural standards for the potential siting of homeless-serving daytime drop-in centers and overnight shelters. A copy of the draft ordinance will be available 10 days prior to the public hearing in the Development Services Center (2nd floor) of Puyallup City Hall located at 333 South Meridian, during normal business hours (9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., Mon-Friday).
Persons wishing to testify may submit written comments before the hearing c/o the City Clerk, MWinter@ci.puyallup.wa.us, or may submit written comments or verbal testimony at the hearing.
