In 2015, the city of Puyallup purchased 18 acres of land east of Shaw Road and north of Pioneer Way for future use as a community park. Since then, work has begun on a Master Plan to determine the particular uses that will be included in the park's development. Construction is anticipated to start in the spring of 2018.
The public is invited to attend an open house on Thursday, March 9th to share ideas for particular components of Van Lierop Park. Please come and let us know what you think!
