Bicycle Patrol is a great resource for the Puyallup Police Department and the city. Although the main area of bike patrol is in the downtown business corridor, bike officers have been utilized to patrol problem areas throughout the city. With less visibility than a marked patrol vehicle, the bikes have been successful in riding right up to crimes in progress.
