Check out a whole new world... virtually! Take a look at First Contact and Oculus Dreamdeck with our VR equipment. Participants must be 13 years old or older. Ages 13-17 will need a signed parental permission form. Adults will need to sign a form on the day of the event. No impaired or ill people may use the equipment.

Great Decisions Discussion Group


January 18 through April 26

Great Decisions is America’s largest discussion program on world affairs, sponsored by the Foreign Policy Association. The program model involves reading the Great Decisions briefing book, meeting to watch the DVD then discussing critical global issues facing America today. The Puyallup Activity Center is partnering with Learning is ForEver and the Puyallup Public Library to offer this discussion group.

For your convenience, a copy of The Foreign Policy Briefing book on all 2018 discussion topics will be available for In-Library use at the Puyallup Public Library Reference Desk.

Meet local writers and artists at PuliCon, the Puyallup Public Library’s comic convention. We’ll have a Star Wars-themed story time, artists & vendors, speakers, games, an artist's alley, crafts, and more! And be sure not to miss our Free Comic Book Day table!

We'll start a salve for participants to bring home, then explore edible plant samples. The class continues with an urban plant walk, then finish the salve at the end. Please bring proper footwear and jackets for the outdoor portion of the class.
