Museum and Park Passes
Check out a pass for free admission to museums. As part of a cooperative project among Puyallup Public Library, Pierce County Library System, Tacoma Public Library and local museums, library patrons have the opportunity to use special passes for free admission to the partnering museums. Our partnering organizations are listed below.
INFORMATION FOR ALL PASSES
- Visit the Puyallup Public Library to check out a museum pass using a valid library card.
- Checkout is limited to 1 pass for 1 week.
- Passes can be put on hold for 1 day and cannot be renewed. You can check for availability by searching the library catalog for museum passes.
- Pass users must adhere to the rules of each of the museums.
- Overdue passes have a $5 late fee per day.
Foss Waterway Seaport
The Foss Waterway Seaport Pass is your ticket to Puget Sound's extraordinary maritime heritage. Experience the sights, sounds and classic beauty of the historic Balfour Dock Building and the waterfront esplanade. Present the pass at the Foss Waterway Seaport front desk and receive free admission for up to 2 adults and 4 children under the age of 18. Children ages 5 and under are always free. Harbor History Museum - Museum Pass is Not Needed
The Harbor History Museum is located in Gig Harbor, WA. Admission is complimentary for all general public visitors. Learn about the history of the Peninsula through artifacts, exhibits, and educational programs. No passes are needed. Call 253-858-6722 or visit the museum's website for more information.
Lakewold Gardens
Stroll the lovely grounds and enjoy the beauty of nature at Lakewold Gardens in Lakewood, WA. Lakewold hosts two annual events-FairyFest and Winter Solstice Nights as well as garden tours, concerts and educational programming. Please visit their website for full information.
Museum of Glass
The Glass Pass is your ticket to contemporary glass art. Watch artists in action in the hot shop amphitheater, and see changing and permanent exhibitions in the galleries. Create your own glass art or participate in a family-friendly art activity in the education studio. Present your pass and receive free admission for up to 2 adults and all children under 18. The Art Access Pass is your ticket to the Tacoma Art Museum and the world of art. Discover paintings, prints, sculptures, art-making activities and so much more. Your pass is valid for 4 free regular admissions. Children under age 5 are always free! All children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by 1 adult for every 3 children. The History Pass is your ticket to an environment where characters from Washington's past speak about their lives. Pass holders receive free admission for 2 adults and all family members under 18 years old. Passes are not valid for field trips or group tour visits. Discover Pass and Backpack
Check out a backpack for a week of fun in the Washington State Parks. The backpack includes a Discover pass which allows free entrance into state parks and other state owned land for a week.Also included are a pair of binoculars, a guide to Washington Trees, a guide to Washington Birds and a a state map listing all of the state park locations.
