Apply for Protection Orders Online

Pierce County now has an online application for domestic violence victims seeking a protection order. Applying for a protection order is now safe and easy to do online.

Visit the County's website for the application Portal.

Here are the basics of the new process:

  • Petitioners will be able to start and submit their applications in person or online.  The web address for online applications is posted above.
  • If applying online, the petitioner will need an internet-connected device with a webcam for Zoom hearings (such as a phone, tablet, laptop, etc.)
  • Because petitioners can use their own device to apply for the protection order, they are not required to visit a DV Kiosk location.

You can also download a copy of Pierce County Superior Court's application here and file it in person or by mail.
