The Puyallup Police Department Records Division is a unit of Professional Services and consists of one records supervisor and two records clerks. The Records Unit is responsible for many important functions of the police department, including: police report intake and maintenance, public disclosure, concealed pistol licenses, fingerprinting, and they are the first point of contact to visitors at the police department.
Your request will be reviewed in accordance with the Public Records Laws and Puyallup Police Department's Public Records Act policy. Report copies may incur a cost of up to $.15 per page. Copies of collision reports are $5 and requests for a CD/DVD incur a cost of $2 each.
The Puyallup Police Department provides electronic fingerprint services on a walk in basis Thursdays from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. We can only print on FD-258 cards, if you need a different type of card you will be required to bring your own. The fee for fingerprint cards is $10.00 for the first card and $3.00 for each additional card. You do not need to be a resident of the city of Puyallup to get fingerprints taken at PPD, unless you are applying for a CPL.

Concealed Pistol License
Concealed Pistol Licenses are available through the Puyallup Police Department for city residents only. Please complete the CPL Application and bring it with you to get fingerprinted on Thursday afternoon between 3:00 - 4:00 pm.
