Puyallup Public Library is happy to announce the grand opening of our new public Pickup Lockers, offering 24/7 access to requested materials with just your library card. The service is available now and can be requested online, by phone, or in person at the library.
When placing a request on an item online, simply select "Pickup Lockers" from the dropdown menu. In person or by phone, just ask a helpful staff member to place your request in a locker for you on arrival.
Important note: if you're using the pickup lockers, be sure to ask staff to change your notification preference to text messages. The lockers cannot send notifications via email or phone calls as reminders for the lockers. Text messages are the only notification method that works with the system.
Pickup Locker items will be held for you for four days and they will already be checked out to you. Just visit our locker station outside the library any time, day or night, and either scan your library card or manually enter the number on the touchscreen. Your locker will pop open within 30 seconds and your books will be waiting. You don't even need to know the locker number in advance. Amazing!
