Why does my sewer seem higher?

Sanitary sewer services are based on your actual water usage (consumption) during the months of December, January 1st through April 30th, and May. Your consumption average is used for bills dated June 1st through November 30th. The two bills dated between January 1st and April 30th are used to create the consumption average.

The City is aware that some customers might be worried about paying their utility bills and we will not be disconnecting services at this time. Recognizing the economic hardship to residents and local businesses caused by the response to COVID-19, the City of Puyallup has modified its payment extension policy to allow for extensions past the next bill date. The modified payment extension terms will be available to customers for 60 days after the state of emergency in Washington is rescinded by Governor Jay Inslee. The Payment Extension Form can be submitted online.
