SAVE THE DATE!

Please join the Puyallup Police Department for ONE Puyallup on Wednesday, August 31st from 6 to 8 pm in Pioneer Park. Enjoy music, food, and fun for the whole family. Get a close look at police vehicles and equipment, meet police officers, visit community resource booths, and learn crime prevention tips. Mark your calendar for this end of summer blast!

Puyallup neighborhoods are encouraged to join thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories and military bases worldwide on Tuesday, August 2nd to celebrate the 38th annual National Night Out. The best way to build a safer community it to know your neighbors. Send a message to criminals that your neighborhood is organized and fighting back against crime. There is no registration required. Anyone can host a party, and we think everyone should! Here are six great reasons to host a National Night Out gathering:

  1. Enjoy a fun night!
  2. Meet your neighbors. It is important to know who lives in your neighborhood so that you can more easily identify strangers and suspicious people.
  3. Increase your sense of belonging in your neighborhood.
  4. Discuss starting a Block Watch or share ways to strengthen a Block Watch you currently have in place.
  5. Share crime prevention and safety information.

No registration is required to host a neighborhood!
