The City is aware that some customers might be worried about paying their utility bills and we will not be disconnecting services at this time. We encourage anyone facing hardship to reach out to us and learn more about options such as payment plans and assistance funds available through a variety of community organizations.
Additionally, the Puyallup City Council has temporarily waived late fees for utility bills. These changes will be available to customers until 60 days after the state of emergency is rescinded.
In light of the governor’s orders and public health guidance regarding social distancing, the Utility Billing counter will be closed to the public until further notice. Staff remain available to answer questions via phone (253-841-5550), email or Live Chat.
Customers can pay their bills online, by phone, or by mail. To pay your bill over the phone using a check, debit or credit card, please have your account number ready and call 1-844-531-3706. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at no additional cost.

Murrey’s Disposal has developed a contingency plan for providing vital services. In the event of a service disruption, solid waste would continue to be collected, with yard waste and recycling collection temporarily suspended.
Businesses impacted by the governor’s orders may reduce or suspend regular solid waste collection services, with some stipulations. Contact us for more information.
