What is International Games Day?

International Games Day is an international initiative supported by the American Library Association, the Australian Library and Information Association, and Nordic Game Day. More than two thousand libraries around the world will celebrate the 9th annual International Games Day @ your library on Saturday, November 19, 2016. Click here for more information on International Games Day.

Gaming at the library encourages patrons of any age to interact with diverse peers, share their expertise and develop new strategies for gaming and learning. At the library, kids can socialize with their friends as well as play board and video games while surrounded by books, librarians, and a real world of knowledge.
