Overview: 15th St. Water Quality Infrastructure

February 3, 2012 - The plans have been completed and the city will pursue construction of the project when funding becomes available.

Overview:  16th Ave SE Embankment/Wall Construction

February 3, 2012 - The city will be repairing the failure of the embankment on the north side of 16th Ave SE, just west of Shaw Road, which is failing due to age. 

 A new retaining wall is needed to repair and stabilize the roadway. 

At times, the ROADWAY WILL BE COMPLETELY CLOSED

for construction.  The project is expected to start in February 2012.

February 3, 2012 - Plans and specifications are complete; some additional right of way is necessary for the project.

February 3, 2012 - Design options are under consideration and funding/grant applications have been submitted.

February 3, 2012 - The project is on hold awaiting funding.

February 3, 2012 - The project is applying for funding for the 2012-2013 biennium.

Overview:  Forest Green Water Main Replacement - Phase 1

February 3, 2012- The main replacement is complete and the north side of the roadway, (the construction area), will be repaved in warmer, dry weather.

Overview: Intelligent Transportation System (ITS)

February 3, 2012 - The project is applying for federal funding for the 2012-2013 biennium.

Overview: N. Puyallup 2MG Reservoir - Tank

February 3, 2012- The site has been purchased and graded in preparation for construction of the water tank. The conditional use permit was issued by the City of Edgewood. The design drawings of the steel tank and connecting water main are completed.

Overview: Pioneer Lift Station Upgrade

The project will be constructed in two phases, the force main and pump station.

September 21, 2011 - Force Main -The project is complete.
