City of Puyallup MapsIf you are new to the area and want to know where the City of Puyallup is located within the southern Puget Sound area, the Regional Vicinity Map shows you where we are and how to find us. As you will see we are located east of Tacoma, south of Seattle and north of Olympia, the State's capital. The following two maps are detailed city maps and can be used as street maps. The City of Puyallup Map shows the City's limits and Urban Growth Boundary. The City Street Map shows the city's incorporated limits and streets over hillshading. Zoning MapsWe now offer online parcel specific zoning maps. Zoning information is provided on individual map panels representing quarter sections of the City. When looking for zoning of a specific parcel, first identify where in the City the parcel is located by using the Zoning Index Map, and clicking on the square associated with that location. Clicking on the box will take you to a map showing individual parcels and their associated zoning. In addition to parcel numbers and zoning, mapped data include environmental information (e.g., floodplain designations, heritage tree locations), downtown development designations (the Revenue Development Area for the LIFT program, and the downtown Residential Target Area), historic site locations, park locations, and other features. The wall size formated Zoning Map remains available and is intended for general use. Zoning maps are updated approximately once a year as proposed zoning changes are adopted by ordinance by the City Council. The parcel specific zoning maps and the wall sized zoning map are provided for informational purposes only. The official Comprehensive Plan and Zoning map book is kept at the Development Services Center front counter located on the 2nd floor of City Hall. It is available for public viewing during normal business hours. Critical Area MapsThe Critical Area Ordinance (CAO) update was adopted on September 18, 2006. The CAO includes the following maps: Vicinity Map, City & UGA, Drainage Basins, Inventoried Wetlands/Streams, Aquifer Recharge/Well Head Protection Areas, Fish & Wildlife Habitat, Geologic Hazard, and Frequently Flooded Areas. The data contained within the maps does not change very often. Any changes seen are most likely the result of a recent annexation and subsequent city limit change. Future Land Use MapThe Future Land Use Map is the same map found in the City's Comprehensive Plan and is updated approximately once a year as proposed Comphrensive Plan map changes are adopted by ordinance by the City Council. Coming soon is a map series similar to the one found at the Zoning Index Page link. This series will be quarter section based Future Land Use maps. Look for them by the end of next quarter.
