City of Puyallup

Puyallup's pets and animals are kept safe by Metro Animal Services, a partnership
among seven cities that is jointly operated by the cities of Puyallup and Sumner.

If you live in the city of Puyallup, you are required to license your pets through Metro Animal Services. Not only does your annual license help your own pet return home safely, but your license also funds animal services to shelter and feed lost and homeless pets while finding them forever families.

Metro Animal Services offers online pet licensing. If you are a Puyallup resident, click here to license your pet online.  Or, click here for a printable license application. Licensing can be completed in person at the following locations:

  • Puyallup City Hall (333 S. Meridian, Puyallup)
  • Puyallup Police Department (311 W. Pioneer, Puyallup)
  • Metro Animal Services Shelter (1200 39th Ave SE, Puyallup)

Go to the Metro Animal Services website at www.metroanimalservices.org to view pictures of adoptable pets.
