About Us

The Puyallup Public Library Board is comprised of five citizens residing in the City if Puyallup and a non-voting member of the Friends of the Library.  The Board members are appointed by the City Manager.  Board members are library advocates within their community, representing and promoting the library services and programs.  The Board is responsible for the development of policy for the selection of books, periodicals, maps, materials, and information services for the Library's operation.  For a full description and profile of the Library Board, read the full Bylaws (pdf).

The Puyallup Public Library Board Meetings are held the third Monday of each month, with the exception of January and February, at 6:15 pm in the Library History Room.
