Group computer classes are held in the Computer Lab upstairs. Advance registration is appreciated. We regret that we are sometimes forced to cancel classes due to insufficient registration.

Beginning Computers for Adults
(2-Session Class)

This class is an introduction to the basic skills necessary for using a computer. Since each lesson builds on the previous one, please make sure you are able to attend both classes.

Then a Technology Tutor is your answer! Registration is required and can be made by phone or in person at the Reference Desk. Half hour to one hour sessions are available on:

Introduction to the Internet I

This class will introduce you to the Internet and show you how to navigate a web page, use links, add favorites, and some basic search methods. The last part of the class will focus on tips for maintaining Internet safety. Registration is recommended; please call (253.841.5454) or visit the Reference Desk to reserve your seat.
Prerequisite: Class participants must know how to use a mouse and scroll bars in a Windows environment.
This class is not being offered in May. We will be offering it again in June.

Learn the foundations of spreadsheet use in our Excel class. Since each lesson builds on the previous one, please make sure you are able to attend both classes.
Prerequisite: Student must be familiar with the Windows environment and know how to move, copy, and paste test.

Social Media & Privacy
