Donating Materials

Friends Bookstore New PicAre you interested in donating books, movies, music CDs, or other items from your personal library?  If so, the materials will be used either by the Puyallup Public Library or sold in the Friends of the Puyallup Library Bookstore.  Materials can be donated at the main desk on the first floor, or you can contact the Library ahead of time to make an appointment, either by calling us at 253.841.5454 or by email.  Please ask a staff member for a gift receipt.

Have you discovered Puyallup Public Library's Magazine Exchange?  It is neatly tucked around the corner of the Friends Bookstore, where we have several shelves dedicated to our free exchange.  If you would like to donate your magazines to this area - and you have a small amount to donate - there's no need to ask staff.  Just simply place the magazines on the shelves in the Friends Bookstore.  Please do not drop donated magazines in our book drops.  While you are donating your magazines, if you see one you'd like to read, feel free to take it!   It's a great way to re-use, recycle, and exchange!

If you have further questions, please contact Tim Wadham, Library Director, by phone at 253.841.5452 or by email: twadham@ci.puyallup.wa.us.

Second hand books are wild books, homeless books; they have come together in vast flocks of variegated feather, and have a charm which the domesticated volumes of the library lack.

- Virginia Woolf
