Own the Night - Summer 2012

Own the Night PosterCheck out all the ways that you can spend the summer at the Puyallup Public Library!  Teens can meet local author Lish McBride, learn about retro video games, prepare for the zombie apocalypse, explore history with the Knights of Veritas, or practice their costuming skills.  And, of course, there are lots of things to read!

This summer, teens can win prizes, including books and gift cards, by reading and attending programs.  Teen Summer Reading runs from June 25th to August 11th.

All activities are free and open to teens,

Stuffed Animal Sleepover: Teen Edition

Cheat READ posterThe little kids are bringing their stuffed animals to the library for a sleepover.  But those animals won't tuck themselves in!  We need teens to come to our kids' program, meet the animals, and then prepare for a wild night of library exploration and pictures.  No, not that wild!  Photograph the stuffed animals and help us prepare pictures for when the kids pick them up the next day!  Enjoy pizza and spending time in the library after we close to the public.  Space is limited, so register quick!

Friday, August 10th, 3:00 - 9:00 PM
