Do you have a flare for creative design? Love to draw and want to show off your geeky side? Then grab your pencils, brushes, or computer and start creating!
This November the Puyallup Public Library will once again celebrate comic books, reading, and geekiness during the second Puyallup Mini Comic Con. But we're making some changes! Our convention will now be called PulliComic Con, or PulliCon for short. We’re asking for your help to make this an awesome event - this year, the Library will be holding a logo design contest for our newly-named comic book convention. Do you have what it takes to create our new logo?
All submissions become the property of the Puyallup Public Library for use in promoting our convention, website, and related activities. All art and characters must be original compositions and may be subject to some editing.
Open to ages 5 and up! One winner will be chosen from each of the following categories: Adults (ages 13 years and up) and Kids (5-12 years old). If the chosen winner is a minor, then written permission by a legal guardian must be obtained. The winning logo will be revealed during the Free Comic Book Day activities on Saturday, May 3.
Each winner will receive a $30 gift card to Amazon, plus bragging rights.
Entries may be submitted electronically via email or dropped off in person.
For electronic submissions: The file must be submitted in .jpg format. Please ensure that the image is a sufficient resolution, at least 300 dpi (roughly 2500 x 3300 pixels). Send an email to email@example.com with the subject heading of PulliCon Logo Contest and the artwork as an attachment. In the body of the email please include your name, email address, phone number, and birthdate.
For paper entries: Fill out the contest form, which can be obtained at the Library or downloaded (see the link below). Then submit the form and the attached artwork to a library employee. Minimum size of paper must measure 8.5” X 11”.
