Calling all Heroes of Underland!

Who has what it takes to be king? Kids ages 7-11 will prove their strength and smarts as they find their way through the dreadful Underland maze and become heroes.  They’ll collect clues and fight their way past the Gnawers as they find their way out alive. Don’t forget to forge your own sword and armor before you enter the maze!

This FREE special library event is the last event for the  “Dig Into Reading!” summer reading program for children.  Designed to keep young people reading during the long hot days of summer, the summer reading program at the Puyallup Public Library offers fun incentives to help children maintain their reading skills. All children who spend time reading, listening to an audio book, or being read to, can enter drawings for great prizes. Plus, every child who reads (or is read to) at least 10 hours this summer will get a FREE book and a ticket to Northwest Trek/Pt. Defiance Zoo & Aquarium, as well as free goodies at local retailers. The 2013 summer reading program runs June 17 through August 17. It is generously funded by the Friends of the Puyallup Library and many local businesses. For more information call 253-841-5454 or visit our website at PuyallupLibrary.org.
