Blast off to the library for a fun science program all about rocketry. Rocket science is fun!
Join the Museum of Flight on Tuesday, March 30 for a class that introduces children to the history of rockets and Newton's laws of motions. Participants will then apply this new understanding while designing and testing their own rockets. This science class is sure to educate and entertain. This is not some boring, scarry science lesson. Hands-on learning is part of the fun! Two classes to choose from:
1:30 to 2:30 pm -- Alka Rockets for students in grades K-3 (parent participation suggested)
2:30 to 3:30 pm -- Water Rockets for student in grades 3-6 (if possible, bring a 2 liter soda bottle)
Please register in advance as space is limited. Stop by the Children's Desk or call 253-841-5454.
