Halloween is just around the corner, and believe it or not, the Puyallup Public Library is a great place to come for some fun the day before Halloween. Check out this fun for the whole family in and around your library on Saturday, October 30: Family fun pre-Halloween
Grab some fresh produce and other great goodies at the Farmer's Market in Pioneer Park between 9 am and 2 pm. All day long the Puyallup Main Street Association sponsors various activities in the downtown area as part of their Pumpkin Palooza. Go to http://www.puyallupmainstreet.com/halloween.html for a complete list of their activities. At some point, take the kiddos home for a short break and then return around 2 pm for Trick or Treat Downtown. The Puyallup Public Library will be giving away treats...the non-candy variety. When you are ready for a break from the Trick or Treating then head back to the Library at 3:30 pm for medievel fun with the Knights of Veritas. This non-profit group will educate and entertain you while learning about arms, armour, and chivalry. Who says the library is only about reading books? Not when Halloween is just around the corner!
