Jun. 28, 2010 at 6:04pm Drawing a 3-dimensional fishbowl

Summer reading is off to a roaring good start!  Hundreds of children are already sign up to read 10 or more hours before school starts up.  Over one hundred children attended our Pirate Party or Chalk the Walk summer reading events last week.  And there is still so much more to do...

On this upcoming Friday, July 2, Kim Zeiger will be showing children how to draw a 3-demensional fishbowl.  All children who come for this demonstration will get a chance to practice their drawing skills and decorate their very own fishbowl drawings.  All artists of all artistic abilites are welcome to join us.  No prior drawing experience required.

So make a splash - READ! this summer while having fun at your local library.  Then take a look at one or two of our many drawing books and create your own art at home.  (Drawing books can be found at j 743.)
