Sign language is a wonderful tool for communicating with babies and toddlers.  These little bugaboos are not yet talking but they have a need to tell you their wants and desires.  On Wednesday, October 20 at 10:30 am, the Puyallup Public Library invites you to come learn some Sign Play: Using Sign Language to Communicate With the Little Ones in Your Life.  A one hour workshop for parents and caregiviers of any type with children ages 0 to 36 months.

Join our speaker Leticia Patty (a Pediatric and Speech Language Pathologist at Children’s Therapy Unit at Good Samaritan Hospital) as she introduces basic sign language skills and explains how to create an environment that encourages vocal development for babies and toddlers.

Parents and caregivers are invited to bring their children 0 to 36 months of age.  FREE! No registration required.  This program is generously supported by the Friends of the Puyallup Library!
