Brrrrr.... winter's here!  Are you looking forward to snow?  Grab a cup of hot chocolate, and get cozy.  Here are some books to get you in the mood!

Favorite Picture Books:
The Happy Day by Ruth Krauss- Various animals wake up and run through the snow in the middle of winter.
Mouse's First Snow by Lauren Thompson- A mouse discovers new things when he plays in the snow with his father.
The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats- A little boy goes exploring on a snowy day.
Beginning Readers:
Henry and Mudge in the Sparkle Days by Cynthia Rylant- Henry and his dog, play in the snow, and warm up by the fire.
Lucille's Snowsuit by Kathryn Lasky- Lucille has so much trouble putting on her snowsuit, she's almost too tired to go out and play in the snow.
Max and Mo Make a Snowman by Patricia Lakin- The art room hamsters decide that they want to make a snowman, too.
Classic Chapter Books:
The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe by C.S. Lewi- Four children find their way to the magic land of Narnia, and help Aslan the golden lion defeat the White Witch who has cursed the land with eternal winter.
