Oct. 7, 2009 at 2:15pm The art of 3-dimensional drawing

Add a little perspective to your drawings.  Some simple three-dimensional drawings will do the trick.

Children in grades 3 through 8 are invited to join Kim Zeiger on Monday, October 12 at 4:30 pm to learn the basics of creating three-dimensional geometric shapes.  Simple pencil drawings will be used in this FREE hands-on, one hour class to teach children how to add a three-dimensional touch and perspective to ordinary objects.  Previous art experience not necessary.  All supplies provided.

Kim Zeiger is a local school teacher, art teacher, art enthusiast, and a Puyallup Public Library user.  She teaches all around the Puyallup area, including the Community In Schools of Puyallup.  She has been involved with the PTA Reflections Program for 25 years, plus an Art Docent for 12 years while her own four children attended Karshner Elementary School.  She studied art at Whitworth College, Hawaii, San Francisco, and France.

Come to the library for an hour of drawing and learning fun!  Learn the basics and then check out one of our numerous drawing books to learn more.
