Jun. 2, 2012 at 2:43pm MANGO Languages

Learning a new language? The Puyallup Public Library just added Mango Languages to its list of available electronic resources. Mango is an online language learning system covering over 20 languages. In addition to foreign language offerings such as French, Italian, and Chinese (Mandarin), Mango also offers English as a Second Language (ESL) courses.

Mango is free for all library patrons, and offers a fast and convenient solution for our community’s increasing language-learning needs. Each lesson combines real life situations and audio from native speakers with simple, clear instructions. It's so easy, fast and fun, you'll be talking after just one lesson.

You can access Mango through the Puyallup Public Library website at www.puyalluplibrary.org and selecting the "Catalog & More" tab. Click on Reference databases and find Mango in the list. You'll be asked for your library card number if you are logged in from your own personal computer. Have fun and explore Mango.
