City of Puyallup

Silver Creek, an urban stream running through the heart of Puyallup, flows into Meeker Creek, which has been tested to be too warm for salmon. Shade is the recommendation to solve this. Over the past 8 years volunteers have planted, weeded and installed trails to bring back this once dead stream. Come help volunteers plant additional trees along the streamside to grow up and shade/cool the water.
