Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964) - not rated

General Jack D. Ripper (Sterling Hayden) plummets into madness and sends a bomber wing to destroy the U.S.S.R.  He suspects that communists are trying to rob Americans of their precious body fluids.  The U.S. president meets with his advisors, where the Soviet ambassador tells him that if the U.S.S.R. is hit by nuclear weapons, it will trigger a "Doomsday Device" which will destroy the U.S. with buried bombs.

Running time: 95 minutes
