Puyallup's original Carnegie library building was dedicated on February 11th, 1913. Exactly 100 years later we invite you to join the library staff and Puyallup Mayor Rick Hansen to celebrate our birthday at the Puyallup Public Library 100th Anniversary Ceremony on Monday, February 11th, 2013 at 3:00 pm.  Mayor Hansen will present an official proclamation honoring the library on its 100th anniversary, and will kick off the Mayor’s Reading Challenge for all ages. See if you can meet the challenge and read 100 books in 2013! Refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Library. Also, be sure to check our Facebook page and our web site throughout the year for 100th anniversary contests and events.
