Gain a basic understanding of outdoor photography and learn how to capture great images with nature photographer Greg Farley.
This year’s Pierce County READS selection is Wild: From Lost to Found on the Pacific Crest Trail by Cheryl Strayed. As a community partner with the Pierce County Library System, the Puyallup Public Library will again be participating in this annual community read.
Strayed’s award winning book recounts her story of hiking the Pacific Crest Trail from the Mojave Desert through California and Oregon to Washington State. Dealing with personal loss and life in chaos, the author strikes out on this 1000 mile hike, inexperienced and unprepared. Told with an appealing honesty, Strayed offers readers an inspiring journey of going from lost to found in the great outdoors.
