Come spend the afternoon at Puyallup Public Library’s annual El día de los niños/El día de los libros/Day of the Children/Day of the Books
celebration on Saturday, April 20 from 1:30 pm to 4 pm. In its continuing effort to reach out to all Puyallup residents, the Library has planned an afternoon of fun for the whole family to celebrate language and culture, children and books. This year the fiesta will include a special talk from award winning children’s author Yuyi Morales, the children’s dance troupe Luz de Luna,
the mariachi band Nuevo Amanecer,
crafts, food, as well as a variety of community groups on hand to give out information, including First 5 FUNdamentals of Pierce County. This is a FREE family event for all ages and all languages. Every child who comes to the party gets one free bilingual book thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Library. No registration required.
