Cosplay Dance

5/3, 6:00 pm-8:30 pm

Puyallup Public Library
324 S Meridian
Puyallup WA 98371

Join the Puyallup Public Library for our Cosplay Dance! It's a chance to meet other fans and show off your passion for your favorite books, shows, and comics!

Cosplayers of any and all fandoms are welcome and encouraged to attend in costume. We will be holding a contest, where you can compete in one of three categories:

  • Coolest Craftsmanship
  • Best In-Character
  • Freakin' Fan-tastic

Our winners will receive a gift card from Amazon, JoAnn Fabric, or Michaels.

No costume? No problem! This is a dance for fans of all kinds and doesn't require a costume.

This event is all-ages, though we ask that those ages 15 and under come with a parent or guardian. Adult chaperons are not required to purchase a ticket. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door or online at www.brownpapertickets.com.

Throughout Free Comic Book Day, we will be offering a variety of activities, including handing out comics to library patrons and screening a documentary on cosplayerse. Click here for more information.

Free Comic Book Day is generously sponsored by The Friends of the Puyallup Public Library, and our partner is Fantasium Comics in Federal Way. (1500 South 336th Street, Suite 12A, Federal Way, WA 98003). If you would like to learn more about Free Comic Book Day, or about the history of comic books, please visit www.freecomicbookday.com
