Are you planning on taking the SAT or ACT? Want some tips on how to improve your score? The Puyallup Public Library and Kaplan are offering a free practice test, a review of test-taking strategies, and an explanation of the difference between the SAT and ACT. There will be a free SAT/ACT practice test on Saturday, March 30th, from 8:30am to 1:00pm. Each student should come prepared with a pencil, eraser, calculator and snack.
There will be a follow-up session for parents and teens where they may pick up test results and attend a Test Strategies Seminar. This follow-up session will be held on Tuesday, April 9th, from 6:00 to 7:00pm.
Both programs are free and open to the public. Registration is required and should be done online, through Kaplan. Go to http://www.kaptest.com/enroll/SAT/98371/events to register.
