The City of Puyallup offers post-Christmas “treecycling” at no cost to all residential customers. Flocked trees or yard waste will not be accepted. Please do not put trees in garbage or yard waste containers. Remove all ornaments, tinsel, etc. and cut your tree into sections no longer than four feet in length. Place your tree on the ground at the curb by 7 a.m. on Monday, January 7th.

The lahar warning siren system will sound at noon today. This is the regularly scheduled monthly test of the system to ensure it is in good working order in the event of a real emergency.

The Law Enforcement and Fire Fighters (LEOFF) Board administers benefits for members of the State LEOFF 1 Retirement System.
