GIS Data
City of Puyallup GIS Data
The City of Puyallup has 56 GIS spatial data layers available for distribution. All of the data layers are shapefiles and have metadata files in FGDC format. The projection used is NAD_1983_HARN_StatePlane_Washington_South_FIPS_4602_Feet and the datum used is D_North_American_1983_HARN. The process for obtaining city data is simple, quick and is outlined below.
- Review the list of available data
- Complete a Public Record Request form making it clear that you are requesting GIS data.
- Mail the signed form to Barbara Price, City Clerk, at 333 South Meridian, Puyallup 98371 or fax them to Barbara Price, City Clerk at 253-841-5484.
Your request will be forwarded to the GIS Coordinator who will contact you to verify the data requested and make arrangements for data delivery. Most data requests can be filled within 48 hours at no cost if email or an FTP site is used for data delivery.
