Urban Tree Sale

Urban trees are now understood to be a central part of a green system and provide a range of benefits. Trees improve our urban spaces by:

  • beautifying neighborhoods
  • reducing urban heat island effect
  • cleaning the air
  • reducing polluted runoff
  • providing shade that lengthens the life of materials

With funding from the Puyallup Watershed Initiative, Pierce Conservation District is hosting an Urban Tree Sale. They are offering 9 tree varieties at $10-$30 each. Trees will be available in the fall, when the weather is best to install a new tree, and each tree will come with a FREE watering bag and Tagro compost. Trees are limited and are sold on a first-come first-serve basis. To reserve your tree, visit: http://www.piercecountycd.org/377/Urban-Tree-Sale.
