We are currently reading Barbara Kingsolver's 1988 debut book "The Bean Trees". "The Bean Trees" follows the story of Taylor Greer, a Kentucky woman who embarks on a life journey and the many people she meets along the way. Some may be familiar with Kingsolver's work "The Poisonwood Bible", which was a Pulitzer prize finalist. For this session we will be discussing the first 5 chapters of the book and background information on the author.
