Community Outreach Officer

In 2015 Chief Jeter assigned a commissioned patrol officer, Officer Bennett, to the position of Community Outreach Officer. As the Community Outreach Officer, Officer Bennett works to address quality of life issues in the City of Puyallup and the corresponding impact on police and the community. Officer Bennett does this by working with the homeless citizens and mentally ill and drug addicted persons who are on our streets on a daily basis and by cultivating relationships with the service providers that can help find long term solutions for these citizens.
