The Friends of the Puyallup Public Library is a separate 501(c)3 organization that serves to enhance and expand the resources of the Library. The Friends raise funds through memberships and the ongoing sale of books in the Friends of the Library Store.
This revenue helps to sponsor special events for children and teens in the Library, including the Summer Reading Program. The Friends of the Library also host educational and cultural programs for all ages throughout the year.
Membership fees are a key revenue component in generating dollars to meet our budget commitments. With the New Year comes our appeal to you to renew your annual membership and to encourage friends and neighbors to show their support of the Friends of the Puyallup Public Library.
You can print the Membership Form (PDF) or you may pick up one next time you visit our Library. Your membership fee is tax deductible as the Friends of the Puyallup Library is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization, tax id# 91-1108282.
The Friends of the Library meet on the second Thursday of the month at 10:30 am, in the library meeting rooms.

Is there a loved one you would like to memorialize or honor with a donation in their name to the Friends of the Puyallup Public Library? The name will be recorded in our permanent Memorial Book and a note written to the family informing them of the inclusion. Because we are a nonprofit 501-c-3, we will send you a receipt for tax deduction.
Here's how it works. Write a check to the Friends of the Puyallup Public Library.
Include a note with:
the name of the person being so honored or memorialized
the address of the person or family of the person being honored
the name and address of the donor, so that we may send our thanks and a tax deductible receipt.
Put this information in a sealed envelope and deposit it in the red collection box located in the Friends Bookstore, on the first floor of the Puyallup Public Library.
