Families are invited to paint together on canvas, with a focus on school readiness and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math).

My Hero Academia

Teen Anime Club - My Hero Academia: Two Heroes

Deku and his friends take on a daring rescue operation when villains hack into I-Expo—the world's leading hero item exhibition. All Might is trapped by their sinister plan, and his best hope for saving everyone lies in the new generation of heroes.

Teens (ages 12+) are welcome to drop in and watch the movie My Hero Academia: Two Heroes (TV-14). We'll have snacks and crafting supplies available. Make a perler bead creation or use our button maker. No registration required.
Galaxy Painting

Paint Your Own Galaxy with Fred's Creative Kids

4:30 - 5:30 pm

Learn how to create a galaxy-themed acrylic painting, similar to what you might see from the Hubble Space Telescope. This class is in partnership with Fred's Creative Kids, a division of Fred Oldfield's Western Heritage & Art Center.

Recommended for children ages 6 and up. No registration required. Please wear an art-friendly paint shirt!

Game Night: Jack Box

Game Night: Jackbox

Need some time to unwind or take a break from studying? Come play Jackbox games at the library. These hilarious party games are easy to play and just require a phone/tablet or a computer. The library will provide laptops to play if you don't have a device.

Teens and adults (ages 12+) are welcome to drop in and try out different games. We will be located in the meeting rooms on the first floor. No registration required.

Stop by the Library and choose from a wide selection of comics for Free Comic Book Day. We'll have a little something for everyone. While we can't guarantee that we'll have every title available, click here to see a list of the comics that publishers are releasing for this year's event. 

Treat your inner comic book fan to series like The Avengers, Stranger Things, Doctor Who, Pokémon, Riverdale, and My Hero Academia, just to name a few of the titles we'll have available to pick up. Supplies are limited, so visit us early for the best selection.

Celebrate Star Wars Day - watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens (PG-13) at 11:00 am and Star Wars: The Last Jedi (PG-13) at 2:00 pm. We'll have Star Wars-themed crafts at both showings.

The Joy of Painting Along

Have you always wanted to try your hand at creating a Bob Ross-style painting? Join us at the library for a paint-along. We'll be following Bob as he creates a work of art on his TV show, The Joy of Painting. All materials will be provided, but please wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on.
